Swayam Stores is an online multi-vendor marketplace that enables women entrepreneurs to sell products and services directly to customers. Swayam Stores acts only as an intermediary and is not a party to transactions unless explicitly stated.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to register or transact.
Vendors must be women or women-led enterprises.
All information provided must be accurate and complete.

3. Account Registration

Creating an account is required to access certain features.
You are responsible for securing your login details.
We reserve the right to terminate accounts for misuse or policy violations without giving any notice at our discretion.

TERMS FOR USERS (CUSTOMERS)

4. User Responsibilities

Provide accurate contact, shipping, and billing details.
Respect vendors and refrain from fraudulent or abusive activity.
Check individual vendor policies for refunds, returns, and cancellations.
Users should use their discretion while placing orders.

5. Payments

All payments are processed through secure third-party gateways.
Payment information is not stored by Swayam Stores.
Payment details are shared with the vendor for order processing.

6. Refunds and Cancellations

Refund and cancellation policies are set by individual vendors.
Users must review the vendor’s terms before purchasing.
Swayam Stores may mediate disputes, but the final decision rests with the vendor.

7. Prohibited Activities (Users)

Placing fake or fraudulent orders
Abusing vendors or staff
Posting offensive or unlawful content

TERMS FOR VENDORS (SELLERS)

8. Vendor Eligibility

Only women entrepreneurs or women-led businesses may register.
Vendors are responsible for legal compliance of their business and products.
Multiple complaints against the vendor will result in de-activation of the account and penal action.

9. Vendor Responsibilities

List only genuine, accurately described products or services.
Manage inventory and respond to customer queries promptly.
Ship products and deliver services in a timely manner.
Follow all applicable laws (GST, FSSAI, BIS, etc.).
Maintain professional relation with the customer.

10. Commission and Payouts

Swayam Stores may deduct a commission per order (if applicable).
Payouts are processed as per the agreed schedule.

11. Vendor Conduct

Vendors retain rights to their content but grant Swayam Stores the right to use it for display and marketing.
No counterfeit, banned, or illegal items may be listed.
Harassment or misuse may lead to suspension.
Multiple complaint will result in removal of the vendor from the platform.

GENERAL TERMS

12. Intellectual Property

The website design, branding, and content belong to Swayam Stores.
Vendors retain rights to their listings, but grant irrecoverable usage rights to the platform.

13. Limitation of Liability
Swayam Stores is not liable for:

Product or service issues caused by vendors
Delays, non-delivery, or damages
Loss due to technical errors or misuse

14. Termination
We may suspend or terminate user or vendor accounts in case of fraud, abuse, or violation of these Terms.

15. Privacy
Use of this platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer.

16. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform implies acceptance of the latest version.

17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. All disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
